2015 UFTA National - Additional Lodging & Practice Location

23 miles from Northeast Alabama Hunting Preserve is Bear Creek Log Cabins. Along with lodging, the room rates are $100 to $125 per night, they have 196 acres available for practice. The phone number for them is : 256-996-5313. The contact person is Sandy Galloway at Bear Creek.

2014 Nationals Are Coming

The 2014 UFTA National Finals will start on February 14, 2014. The invitation will be sent out the week of January 6th. If you do not receive the invitation by January 13th please let the national office know. The deposit must be postmarked by January 21, 2014. Below is the Schedule of events for the nationals:

Loss of UFTA Member

Last night, November 26, 2013 UFTA lost a friend, family member, competitor, dog trainer/ lover and gentleman. Roger Johnson passed away last night with his loving wife Paula at his side. There are many gestures of the man that Roger was on the UFTA facebook page. More information will follow.

2013 National Finals Event Schedule

This year there have been some changes made that everyone should be aware of. The Keg and Karaoke party has been moved to Thursday night. The door prizes and gun raffle gun will be given away during the party. There will be appetizers and soft drinks also available provided by some of the different sponsors.

2013 UFTA Nationals

The 2012 UFTA Field trialing season has come to an end and the 2013 National Finals will take Place February 16th through the 23rd at Double Head Resort in Town Creek Alabama. The season brought greater than 5500 pointing runs and 805 flushing runs and 6 new high point dogs.

10 Years of National Participation

There were 3 dogs this year that participated in the first nationals in Georgia and have participated for all 10 Nationals . Rocky, Dixie and Betty. Frank Arnau of Commerce Georgia owns Dixie and Rocky, Betty is owned and handled by Jeff Beasley of Odon Indiana.
