2014 Nationals Are Coming

The 2014 UFTA National Finals will start on February 14, 2014. The invitation will be sent out the week of January 6th. If you do not receive the invitation by January 13th please let the national office know. The deposit must be postmarked by January 21, 2014. Below is the Schedule of events for the nationals:

Friday February 14
5:00 pm Judges, bird planter and Field Marshall Meeting
7:00 pm Amateur Handler Meeting

Saturday February 15
Amateur Semi Final begins.
Youth Trial

Sunday February 16
Amateur Semi Final continues.
7:00 pm Draw for Amateur Finals and Calcutta.

Monday February 17
Amateur Finals
Senior Division Trial
7:00 Doubles Handlers Meeting

Tuesday February 18
Pointing Doubles Semi Final Trials
Women’s Flushing Division Trials
6:00 Flushing Doubles Handler Meeting
7:00 Draw for Doubles Finals and Calcutta

Wednesday February 19
Pointing Doubles Finals
Flushing Doubles
Women’s Pointing Division Trials
7:00 Membership Meeting
Open Handlers Meeting will follow Membership meeting

Thursday February 20
Open Pointing and Flushing Semi Finals Begin
6:00 Keg and Karaoke Party with Appetizers and door prizes given away.

Friday February 21
Open Pointing and Flushing Semi Finals continue
Draw for Open Finals and Calcutta

Saturday February 22
Open Finals
Swamp Johns Catering meal from 4-7pm at the conference center
Awards Banquet


The Keg and Karaoke party will be Thursday night. The door prizes and gun raffle gun will be given away during the party. There will be appetizers and soft drinks also available provided by some of the different sponsors.

Again this year Doublehead will have Swamp Johns Catering service sat up outside the conference center on Saturday afternoon. Swamp Johns Restaurants are famous for their fried catfish, chicken tenders and seafood. Instructions for members to receive their free meal will be given out when you pay your entry fee to Doublehead. They will serve a hot made to order food from 4 to 7 pm on Saturday evening prior to the Awards Banquet.
