Update of Rules

The board of directors voted at their last meeting at the nationals the following:

2014 National Finals

The 2014 UFTA Nationals will again be held at Doublehead Resort in Town Creek Alabama. This decision was made by the membership during a vote at the National Finals. The Amateur division will begin on Saturday February 15th. Check back for more information to be posted in the near future.

2013 Amateur Semi Final Run Orders

The Amateur Semi Finals will start on Saturday February 16th. The following run orders have been posted but any announcement made at the Amateur Handlers meeting on Friday night at 7:00 could cause this to change, so please if you are a competitor in the Amateur division plan on attending the meeting. Judges Training Session

This year there will be a judges training session held at the National Finals. All judges must attend if judging at the nationals. The first session will be held at 5:00 on Friday February 15th at the Conference center prior to the Amateur handlers meeting. If you judge UFTA events and would like to attend please let me know. :MS Beasley or call 812-617-0230.

2013 Nationals Are Coming

Planning is underway for the 2013 UFTA National Final in February 2013. If you would like to help in any way please let us know by emailing to :MS Beasley or call 812-617-0230.

END OF TRIAL YEAR

Members please note that this year the last day to compete in a trial is December 27, 2012. Any trial after this date counts towards the next years trials.

Update Champion Information

The website has been updated with pages for Hall of Fame dogs and Champions and National Champions. Any member who would like their dog picture added or changed please send them to me and I can update them. Also please check the information related to the current dogs you are running. If the registered name, sex, color, whelped date is missing we probably do not have a copy of your current papers. You can either email the missing information or send a scanned copy of your registration papers to: email:MS Beasley or call 812-617-0230.

Information for Members

Due to the recent resignation of Jason Cole the Board of directors voted to offer the open seat on the board to Mike McClendon, who accepted the position. This decision was made since Mike was second in votes to fill the board position during the previous election by the members at the 2012 Nationals.

UFTA HALL OF FAME PAGE

The board has determined for a dog to be placed on the Hall of Fame page it must have 5 Championships in the Open Division, or 10 Championships combined from any division.
