"Humble Domination"

Imagine how hard it is to win a Open Flushing High Points Championship and a Open Flushing National Championship in the same year. Then imagine doing the same in the Flushing Doubles Division to boot in the same year. Oh, and then imagine repeating the next year with another High Points Championship in both the Open Flushing Division and Flushing Doubles Division.

That is exactly what Eddie Karban and his black Lab, Thor, of Valley City, OH have managed to do heading into this year's National Championships at Rend Lake Resort in Whittington, IL. But you would not know it in talking to Eddie. For Eddie, it is all about the enjoyment of working with his dogs, getting to know the people of our organization and competing for the sake of competing. A competitive motor cross racer in his earlier years, Eddie has turned his dedication, hard work and love of competition to our sport of upland game bird field trialing and brought with him his passion for competing at a high level.
